Regular Season Round 7: Buducnost - Ilirija 84-78

Fourth defeat of league's leader SlovenianIlirija (2-4) against first ranked Montenegrin Buducnost (5-2) 84-78 was the most important game of the last round. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian power forward Nikola Tanaskovic (204-1997) who helped to win the game recording 20 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American forward Juwan Morgan (203-1997, college: Indiana) contributed with 9 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Buducnost's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Serbian guard Ognjen Jaramaz (193-1995) answered with 19 points and 8 assists and added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Ilirija. Four Ilirija players scored in double figures. Defending Montenegrin champion maintains first place with 5-2 record which they share with defeated Ilirija . Ilirija at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. They were replaced at the leadership position by Spartak.
